BELLY AND BRAIN QUEST

What we eat has a much greater effect than we realize. The brain and gut are in constant two-way communication with each other. Improving this communication can positively contribute to your life in many different ways. It can help with intestinal complaints, over or underweight, IBS, Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, but also with mental complaints, Burnout, depression and the large group of unexplained physical ailments. The abundance of information in today’s society makes listening to your internal compass not always easy. I will take you by the hand to find what works for you. Together we improve the communication between your belly and brain.

How do we do that? That is different for everyone. There is not one solution, one truth. It is important in this process that you experience all the freedom to explore what works for you.

LET’S CONNECT for a no-strings-attached conversation to talk about the possibilities and to see if I am the right guide for you.

Why let me be your guide?

In my adolescence I was given various medical diagnoses (Crohn’s disease, epilepsy, shoulder complaints, depression). My medical history, all the lessons I learned along the way made me the person I am today. Looking back, my physical and psychological discomfort was my research lab. It made me explore. After years of research in the medical world, I did not find “the solution” that I was looking for at the time. My extensive work-experience in the hospitality industry and my intestinal problems led me to research nutrition. Over the years I have specialized in gluten free, lactose free, sugar free, vegan and  cooking on fire. However, it didn’t take me long to find out that “the solution” could not be found in food alone. This brought me to the brain. With questions like; how do my thoughts affect how I feel? To what extent is pain connected to my way of thinking? How do you find peace and quiet in your mind, and with that relaxation in your body? Ultimately, these quests lead me to alternative medicine, energy work. There, too, I researched and learned, and here too I was looking for “the solution”, the answer.

The conclusion,  there is not one answer, there is no end goal to achieve. All you can do is explore how you can live in a way that suits your body, mind and soul. What do you need to feel good with the cards you’ve been dealt? This is an internal investigation possibly supported by external sources.

Throughout the years I learned through various courses, studies, workshops, but above all, from life. Driven by the “why”, I have come to a point where I no longer feel the need to understand the “why”. I went from wanting to know with the mind, too feeling what’s right.  For me the main question now is: do you feel healthy and happy? If your answer is no, I would like to be your guide so we can investigate together how you can adjust this.
