6 ripe bananas

200 grams dates

200 grams of oatmeal

4 tbsp broken flaxseed

4 tbsp coconut shavings 

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

4 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp nutmeg

1 tbsp cloves

1 tbsp ginger powder

1 tsp fine black pepper

A pinch of salt

Coconut fat to grease your baking pan

Everything free banana bread may not sound very tasty. But even though it doesn’t have a lot, it’s full of flavor and not to mention very easy to make. Many variations are possible. This is the basic recipe. Leave out all spices except the cinnamon and put rhubarb (like in the picture) or blueberries on top for some variety. There are a lot of bananas in this recipe, don’t throw away the peels if you have a food dehydrator, give this recipe a try. 

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. 

Go with the flow. Even when I didn’t weigh the ingredients, it tasted good. It doesn’t come down to a gram more or less. 

Are you feeling adventurous? Add some other spices. Think fennel seed, 5 spices, star anise, a little chili, go wild.

Put your mix in a greased baking pan and put in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
